Apply to Coral Reef

Coral Reef has a bold vision to bridge the critical housing gap for adults with disabilities in West Michigan. Our innovative model redefines residential care by merging the security of supportive living with the independence and the stability of “ownership.”

Coral Reef residents are able to do the following on their own, with the assistance of Community Living Support (CLS), or with guidance from Coral Reef Life Coaches:
  • Dress, bathe and manage all aspects of hygiene without support.
  • Safely function in their apartment and in the community without direct supervision during non-structured times.
  • Able to participate in skill-related instruction, employment, and structured recreation programs.
  • Clean up after themselves (i.e., dishes, bathroom, living area).
  • Safely navigate the community (i.e., crossing the street, interacting with community members, identifying stranger danger)
  • Independently manage their medications.

Coral Reef is unable to serve individuals who pose a danger to themselves or others. ‍
